Sat I planted a row of shallots from the pound shop  later this week onion sets then a few potatoes.

New freezer

New freezer  coming  Monday  morning  from  argos,  its  a  Bush  we  had  the  old  one  30  years,  that  was  a  Hotpoint,  and  it  never  broke  down,  lets   hope  the  new  one will  last  as  long

Who would have thought-switching on the washer would cost me  a load of cash, well it did !

Saturday was washday, so I loaded up the washer, put in the powder, started the wash and sat down at the computer.

Suddenly a heard a load bang and a flash !!
THE RESULT I had to have the whole house rewired and buy a new washing machine, never mind eh its on
ly money.

From Argos on offer  £169.99  a bargain.

Costly cup of coffee !!

I dropped my mobile in the old fart cup of coffee, and now it wont work! so I had to buy a new one. Looked on the amazon web site and spotted one a Samsung GT-E 1200 unlocked for £13.59 and brand new, and still sealed in makers box and postage was free...a BARGAIN

I bought an Asda mobile sim  card @ 5op=with calls @ 10p a min and texts @ 6p and top ups start at £5 its the cheapest one around apart from Tesco @ 8p a min.

Allotment 2011

Allotment 20011-12 has now come to an end.
Its now Jan 20th 2013 and we are in the grip of winter snow ice and freezing temperatures.The nights are drawing out 4:29 is light up time to night that's around 3 Min's a day total gain. I have not been to the allotment  since Nov last year , not got no seed potatoes or onion sets  yet or seeds am I losing interest-may be!!  but as soon as the weather gets better I will be up to the pound shop to buy potatoes and onions and a few pks of seeds for a start in march.
